Swedish Girls in Rainboots

Yesterday night after a busy day of italian classes, working out, and work I met up with Meghan at Bar Magenta for a couple of drinks. The weather was absolutely terrible...it was cold and pouring down with rain. We arrived at the bar just as the Milan v. Madrid game was ending. The place was packed and everyone was yelling with excitement due to the face that AC Milan won the game. After a couple of glasses of wine we decided it was too early to call it a night so we braved the weather and headed out to Old Fashion. After waiting in the rain to get in we headed into the club. We both felt a little ridiculous because we had out big coats, umbrellas, and rain boots on in the club. Either way we had a good time and kept laughing each time Italian guys tried hitting on us. Our blonde hair seemed to scream "swedish" to all the guys who were there, we got asked if we were Swedish or Swiss multiple times. When we told them that we were American they got even more excited. I used the opportunity to try out some of my Italian on some of the boys that didn't speak english. But seriously ladies....if you ever are in need of an ego boost come to Italy. I have never been told that I'm beautiful so many times in my life!

All in all a good night! Tomorrow we're off to Forte dei Marmi again!
